INSPYRIUM, CUIJKUrban Trees on an award winning rooftop garden

Entering the roof of the Inspyrium event centre in Cuijk, it is hard to believe that you are on a rooftop. The coordinated wilderness of edible plants, shrubs and trees feels like a veritable jungle. No wonder it won the 2022 Rooftop Award for most impressive roof garden in the Netherlands. 

The roof garden displays many different plant species as inspiration for both customers visiting Boomkwekerij Ebben and guests visiting the event centre. It can rightly be called a multifunctional space perfect for meetings, content sessions, parties, BBQs and other gatherings. On the east side of the roof, we placed four Urban Trees with June berry (Amelanchier lamarckii), demonstrating the possibilities of modular trees on roofs.
